Required training for Child Care Providers
This course teaches child care providers how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development, skill development, and realistic scenario practice to make sure students have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise.  Our classes include instruction on how to provide emergency care for injured or ill adults, children and infants. The course fee includes a two year certification card from the American Safety & Health Institute that is awarded upon completion of the training.
 
This course teaches you to respond to emergencies that require CPR and first aid for adults, children, infants, and the use of an AED.  This course meets the in-service training requirements of the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services, DODD, and Nursing Students.  During your training you will learn how to manage serious bleeding, treat for shock, spinal injury management, choking victims, injury/illness assessment. scene assessment, incident scene management, and the use of different protective barriers. The course fee includes a two year certification card from the American Heart Association or the American Safety & Health Institute.
 
 
AED (included with the Health Care Provider course)
The Automated External Defibrillation (AED) course builds on the skills learned in the Primary Care (CPR) course to teach the proper AED use. This life saving device can increase a patient's chance of survival from a cardiac arrest by fifty percent.
 
 
Adult and pediatric first aid training covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening.  Students focus on secondary assessment and first aid through knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice.  The re-certification course can be combined with the CPR re-certification class at no additional cost.  The fee includes a two year certification card that is awarded upon completion of the training.
 
The Bloodborne Pathogens awareness program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. The program meets the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens standard. The fee includes materials and a one year certification card by the American Heart Association.  Students must bring a copy of their employer's exposure protection plan with them to training.
 
Emergency Medical Response $95.00 
Emergency Medical Response for Adults in the Workplace is a combined CPR, AED, basic first aid, bloodborne pathogens, and emergency oxygen administration training program designed specifically to arm laypersons with the minimum knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency care for suddenly ill or injured adults during the usually brief interval between the incident and arrival of emergency medical care professionals.  This the perfect course for environmental occupations.
 
This is required in-service training for Child Care Providers.  You will learn about the  common types of childhood diseases and how to prevent them from spreading.
 
Learn the basic prevention steps of child maltreatment and the proper reporting procedures.  This course is designed for Child Care Providers.

Affiliation with In Too Deep Scuba Training Center is a requirement for authorization as an Instructor.  The price includes instruction and materials.  The course is approximately 32 hours.
 
The PADI Rescue Diver program is divided into knowledge development and open water training.  The knowledge development portion develops the principles and information you need for preventing and handling dive emergencies, with topics including self-rescue, diver stress, diving first aid, emergency management, equipment problems, and rescue and assistance procedures for both conscious and unconscious victims on the surface and underwater.
 
The Scuba Diver refresher training is intended for divers who have been absent from diving for more than a year or if you need to brush up on your skills for an upcoming dive trip.  This training is conducted by experienced Divemasters and Instructors who will provide you with the personal attention that you need to make you confident on your next dive trip. RECOMMENDED OPTION:  CPR & Emergency Oxygen Provider.
 
In addition to learning the skills of CPR, pilots will participate in an actual flight emergency senario.  Pilots will be be exposed to in-flight emergency senarios, emergency landings, patient extraction, and requesting EMS response.  This training is only offered to licensed pilots.
